Monday the 18th September saw teams come together fight out for the Pennant or just for team pride at the culmination of the 2023 Winter Pennants season.

Forrest Dental, who had lead the competition for nearly all of the season, came up against second placed Rosemont Park Studs. Things were looking ominous for Forrest Dental early on, with them going down in the three of the first four games.  Daniel Hamon lead the way for Forrest Dental with partner, Lee, to fight back in the 5th game, but it was clear that Rosemont Park were out to play tonight as they came out the ultimate victors at the end of proceedings, with a comprehensive win over Forrest Dental.

Following the completion of matches players retired to the function area to harass the bartender for some rejuvenating liquid refreshments as season awards were presented.

Having already had a big week at the Juniors tournament, Derek Garcia took out the most improved player for the 2023 season. This young gun is a force to be reckoned with, as was seen at the recent Collie Country Carnival.

The highest points score went to Daniel Hamon, with the big guy pipping No1 player Billy Wauhop by just 10 aces over 15 weeks. Note that young gun Derek was still making his presence felt, coming in only 16 aces behind Billy.

Congratulations to all participants in this year's season for their ongoing commitment to our pennants competition.
