On the final night of competition for the season prior to the finals Forrest Dental had the chance to knock SW Isuzu Smashers out of the finals. Needing a win by at least 3 games Forrest Dental battled hard and pushed SW Isuzu Smashers on nearly every game. They won more points but were bettered by a strong showing from the Smashers, who earned their place in the Grand Final.

Forrest Dental's loss, combined with The SWAT team's win over Bunbury Appliances tonight, enabled the SWAT team to leapfrog Forrest Dental into 3rd position. Special shout out to our newest reserve,  Dan Lawrence. A young and eager player from our junior coaching programme, Dan showed he could mix it with the big kids in his matches tonight, winning four of his five games tonight. Well done Dan!

Next week is finals, with the top 4 teams playing off and supper night, so bring along a plate of food and down a drink to celebrate the winners of Summer pennants.
