Badminton WA Shuttletime Coaching Clinic

‘Shuttle Time’ is the Badminton World Federation (BWF) schools and community programme supporting the principle of active lifestyle and sport participation for people of all ages -and successful completion of the ShuttleTime course will provide you with a nationally recognised qualification which certifies you as a community and participation level badminton coach.

On Saturday, 6th March 2021 members of B&DBA gathered at our Badminton Centre to participate in a Level One Shuttletime coaching clinic, coordinated by experienced visiting members of Badminton WA-Dr Judith Cousins and Ms Kay Terry.

All Bunbury participants had completed the prerequisite online component prior to commencement of the day's practical activities. As the morning progressed they were put through their paces by completing various coaching exercises and skills and assessed on competencies.

All participants were congratulated by Dr Cousins who said "All showed the potential to be effective coaches and now they have taken the first step on the pathway"
